Sheryl Jean Zehr, 53, of Buckingham, died Sunday (Oct. 18, 1998) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Herscher Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jerry Watkins will officiate.
Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Provena St. Mary's Cancer Center.
She was born Oct. 26, 1944 in Buckingham, the daughter of James Rollo and Mary Mildred Askew Harris.
Surviving are her husband, Marlow Zehr, whom she married Aug. 31, 1973 in Herscher; stepsons and spouses, Mitchell and Debra Zehr of Neena, Wis., Mark and Laura Zehr and Matthew Zehr, all of Portland, Ore.; one daughter and son-in- law, Julia and Wayne Bisaillon of Bonfield; one sister and brother-in- law, Sharon and Val Sprietzer of Joliet; four grandchildren; three nieces; and four nephews.
Deceased are her parents and a sister, Betty Gross.
She was a member of Herscher United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Zehr had been employed at General Foods and the Special Education Cooperative for the last three years.
She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and Elvis.
