Lawonna Ousley, infant daughter of Caprice James and Joel Ousley, of Kankakee, died at birth Friday (Nov. 11, 2011) at Riverside Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lax Mortuary in Kankakee. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sisters, Kei'Mya Ousley and Neveah James, both of Kankakee; two brothers, Jy'Aire Ray and Princeja'Miere Ousley, both of Kankakee; maternal grandfather, Steven Houston, of Kankakee; paternal grandparents, Eyvette Ousley, of Kankakee, and Darrell Flournouy, of Virginia; maternal great-grandparents, Margaret and Morris Ballard, of Kankakee, Edith James and John Wilbourn, both of Chicago; three uncles, Lavince Kitchens and Marcus Landingham, both of Kankakee, and Stephon Houston, of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wonna James.
