Kelli Ann Marie Beever - Springfield


Kelli Ann Marie Beever, 4, of Springfield, granddaughter of former Kankakee residents, died at 1:33 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 20, 2011) at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Staab Funeral Home, 1109 S. Fifth St., Springfield, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Keith Anderson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Chatham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She was born Feb. 25, 2007, in Springfield, the daughter of Deanna M. Day-Beever. Kelli attended Ball Elementary Preschool in Chatham. Her mischievous grin would light up a room. She enjoyed fishing, chasing butterflies, playing dress up, putting together puzzles and reading books. She liked listening to Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, Luke Bryant and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." She was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Surviving besides her mother, are her grandparents, Lori Day, of Springfield, formerly of Kankakee, and Tim Day, of Springfield; great-grandparents, Thomas and Gail Beever, of Springfield, formerly of Kankakee, and Trudy and Don Day, of Springfield; godmothers, Fawn Hilton and Ann Szabo, both of Springfield; and three cousins, Taylor, Zach and Erin Beever, of Mansfield.

Her dog, Bailey "Bay Bay," preceded her in death.
