David M. Senesac, 68, of Kankakee, died Wednesday (Sept. 28, 2011) at his home. At his request there will be no public services.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois German Shorthair Rescue Organization, P.O. Box 341, Gurnee, IL 60031. Arrangements are by the Senesac Funeral Home & Cremations of Kankakee.
Mr. Senesac was the owner and funeral director of Senesac Funeral Home & Cremations of Kankakee. He was formerly an aeronautical engineer for Boeing Aircraft Corp. He was born Jan. 9, 1943, in Kankakee, the son of Raymond T. and Olean C. Graveline Senesac. He was a graduate of the University of Southern California, a graduate of the Worsham College of Mortuary Science and a graduate of Kankakee Senior High School. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. He was former president of the original Bourbonnais Chamber of Commerce and former member of the board of directors of the Kankakee Air Festival committee when the Blue Angels performed in the annual air show in 1993. He was also a member of Pheasants Forever Kankakee Chapter, Friends of NRA (National Rifle Association), Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Green Acres Sportsman's Club, Grand Kankakee Hunt Club, Deer Creek Hunt Club, National Sporting Clays Association and the Illinois Sporting Clays Association. He was a licensed private pilot and a member of the Kankakee Valley Pilot's Association for many years.
Surviving are three daughters, Vicki Senesac, of Manteno, Teri Scott, of Kankakee, and Keli Roach, of Bourbonnais; two sisters, Karen Klopp, of Kankakee, and Suzanne Sherif, of Grand Prairie, Texas; two nephews, Timothy Klopp, of Kankakee, and Jason Klopp, of Crescent City; and his faithful dog, Jack Daniels, a German shorthair pointer.
His parents are deceased. (Pd.)
